Candidate for District 1 County Commission
I welcome you to my campaign website and I hope to provide you with information about me, and my position on issues that affect Brevard County and the quality of life we enjoy on the Space Coast. As you read through this site, please feel to contact me should you have any questions. I will be updating this site regularly with information germane to our County and to the upcoming elections, so please check back often.
As we approach this election season, issues of jobs, property taxes, and economic and government growth will be a primary focus of voters and should be the primary topics of debate as we choose those who establish property tax rates and regulate our business and residential environments.
North Brevard County is faced not only with the current economic downturn (local and nationwide), but also with the prospect of a slowdown at the Space Center as NASA is scheduled to retire the Shuttle Program in 2010. It is important that these issues be addressed by government officials as the decisions made over the next few years will either encourage new jobs and businesses, or discourage potential employers from locating here.
I look forward to this campaign and the exchange of ideas that will shape the future of our County. I am a conservative Republican who believes deeply in our representative form of government and I ask that you elect me to represent you on the Board of County Commissioners.
